My story
I'm running the Alderley Edge Bypass 10k as an ex-regular runner who is trying to get back to being a regular again!
Once upon a time, I ran multiple 10k events, as well as completing 2 x half marathons. These days, I'm more of a gentle jog around the park type of girl.
I signed myself up to run a 10k in 2024 to push myself, improve my physical and mental health, and to raise money for a well deserving charity.
My local children's hospice is Francis House, based in Didsbury. Francis House have a lovely charity shop on my local high street which I regularly enjoy browsing and they work they do is so important. Francis House supports approximately 2,000 people at any one time with respite care, homecare, sibling support, end of life care and emotional and bereavement support.
Myself and Together For Short Lives (including Francis House) would appreciate any and all donations, big or small.
