40 Years Of Umbrella

In 2026, Umbrella is celebrating an incredible milestone - 40 years of empowering disabled children, young people and their families.

To mark our 40th anniversary, we're aiming to raise £4,000 to support our Play and Leisure activities, helping disabled children and young people make friends, build confidence, develop new skills and have fun in a safe and inclusive environment.

As demand for our services continues to grow, this funding will not only help us sustain these vital activities but also create opportunities to reach and support even more children, young people and families across Derby and Derbyshire.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help us continue creating inclusive opportunities, reducing isolation and ensuring more families can access the support they need.

Your donation could help fund:

☂️ £25 could provide a craft or sports activity at one of our children's or youth groups, or help fund an online workshop for parents and carers.
☂️ £100 could help subsidise a youth club session or provide an exciting external activity for young people.
☂️ £250 could help fund a family event, a full-day workshop, a supported playgroup session, or contribute towards the purchase of an ability bike or scooter.

For 40 years, Umbrella has been helping families feel connected, supported and empowered. With your support, we can continue that legacy and reach even more people in the years to come.
