About us
Serge Betsen Academy (SBA) was born from the return of Serge to his native country: Cameroon.
The Charity was created in 2004, based on the following objectives:
- Introduce rugby to underprivileged children in Cameroon
Use rugby to teach values and standards to these children - Support the children's education and access to basic healthcare
- The work in this centres of the Serge Betsen Academy is based on the winning combination:
Rugby - Weekly training is run by experienced coaches and educators.
Education - After school, tutoring sessions are held in wellequipped classrooms run by SBA staff and volunteers.
Healthcare - Access to drop-in clinics is offered, where young boys and girls are provided with treatments and vaccinations. (Hygiene awareness, health education and prevention of disease are also promoted).

Join international rugby star Serge Betsen and friends for the second edition of an evening of Rugby fun!
Dinner, live quiz, and legends Q&A to raise funds for the Serge Betsen Academy's work in Cameroon and Mali.
Date: 19 May 2022
Time: 6:00pm start (Dinner 6:30pm / Quiz: 7:00pm)
Format: Dinner with rugby legends and live quiz by TFA Ltd. An online quiz is available, but please note this is a live event!
