About us
Greek Animal Rescue (GAR) is a UK based charity (No:802243).
Founded in 1989 in order to alleviate the suffering of animals in Greece by supporting a number of animal shelters, sterilising dogs & cats and finding homes for the lucky few.
9k for K9s
Event dates: Friday 2nd April 2021 – Friday 30th April 2021
Join us on our 9K for K9's mission! We're asking our supporters to complete 9km of walks in April in support of the dogs in desperate need at the Amfissa Shelter. Take along your own four legged friend for bonus kilometres and track your mission on Strava.
Help us raise a vital £9k so we can carry out sterilisation of the females to stop the puppy crisis, and provide emergency treatments. Your 9km walk will help us end the suffering for these dogs.
