12K Charity Walk – Carsington Water
Join us for our annual 12K Charity Walk around the beautiful Carsington Water on Sunday, 1st November 2026!
Our charity walk is a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy the Derbyshire scenery and help raise vital funds to support the work of Umbrella Derby & Derbyshire.
Event Details:
- Date: Sunday, 1st November 2026
- Start Time: Between 9:30am and 10:00am
- Location: Carsington Water, meeting point at the main car park
- Distance: 12 kilometres
- Entry Fee: £10 per person
You can choose to complete the route in either direction, heading left or right around Carsington Water.
Whether you're walking on your own, with friends and family, or bringing your four-legged friend along, we'd love for you to join us. Every person who takes part helps us continue supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families across Derby and Derbyshire.

How to Register
Places must be booked in advance, so make sure you register before the event to secure your place.
The walk will go ahead rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
We can't wait to see you there and take on the 12K together!
