About us
Bamford Primary School is a small primary school in the Peak District.
The PTFA is enthusiastic about raising money to ensure school is more than just 'school'.
In recent years PTFA has funded an outdoor obstacle course trim trail, supported the development of the school garden, paid for school trips, books and new IT equipment.

Bamford School PTFA Abseil Fundraiser
Event date:
On 10th May 2025 participants will be braving the 30m/100ft abseil from Miller's Dale viaduct.
This event is kindly hosted by Hathersage-based company Adventure Expeditions.
Each participant is aiming to raise £30 in sponsorship for PTFA but the more we can all raise the better. Adventure Expeditions will also donate every £5 booking fee to PTFA! The money raised will contribute to the installation of solar panels at school which will reduce our energy costs and environmental impact every year.
