Story
At The Pad Project UK, we believe that dignity is a right—not a privilege.
Every week, we support individuals in Hertfordshire who are living with incontinence and struggling to afford the basic products they need to stay dry, comfortable, and confident.
Many people go without. Others ration pads or wear products far too long. For them, the shame, isolation, and health risks are real.
That’s why we created The Pad Project UK—redistributing donated incontinence supplies, connecting people to help, and tackling incontinence poverty head-on.
But we need a website.
A digital home will allow us to:
Make it easier for people to ask for help privately
Share drop-off locations and donation guidance
Manage requests, stock, and delivery
Raise awareness and support more people across Hertfordshire
Lay the foundation for future UK-wide impact

The Pad Project UK

The Pad Project UK is a NEW Registered Charity (Registered Charity Number 1203678), set up by the Award Winning Care Agency By Your Side, supporting individuals in the community who are living with incontinence.
At By Your Side, we support individuals in the community who are living with incontinence. We discovered very quickly the need for individuals needing support with ensuring they have enough items to support their needs and supplies when living with their incontinence.
Whilst supporting our customers we found that they often ran out of pads or items before their next allocation and had to buy extras to see them through to their next delivery.
We began to help our customers by borrowing and sharing items where we could. Doing this we also noticed that there were items not being used and started to redistribute these items to others.
Over time we have begun to collect items no longer being used and support people to source items they need. We have been a support to many individuals in the community to keep them in supplies and to be a central point for donations to be given.
In these difficult financial times and as part of our green planet pledge, we have decided to do this on a UK scale and offer this support and place to collect donations to everyone in the UK.
