Childhood Eye Cancer Trust

At the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust, we are dedicated to supporting children and families affected by retinoblastoma, a rare childhood eye cancer affecting around 50 children a year. At the heart of what we do, we believe that by driving early diagnosis through awareness, funding research, and offering lifelong support to those affected, we can lessen the impact of retinoblastoma now and in the future. We will do this by:

• Providing a lifeline for those who need us by offering guidance, emotional support and practical advice from diagnosis, during treatment and throughout the lives of those affected. We will ensure we are there for those who need us every step of the way.

• Funding pioneering research into projects that will improve our understanding of retinoblastoma, including the patterns of disease and develop kinder effective treatments, with fewer side effects, that preserve more vision.

• Raising awareness. Early detection of retinoblastoma is critical. We will work tirelessly to raise awareness amongst the general public and healthcare professionals about the signs and symptoms of this cancer to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment.
