Chris Dowthwaite's Memorial Golf Day - Friday 5th September 2025
Raising for Dreamflight

On 5th September 2025, we’ll be gathering at Aspley Guise & Woburn Sands Golf Club to honour the memory of Christopher Paul Dowthwaite.
This special event marks the first anniversary of Chris’s passing and celebrates his legacy with a day of golf, friendship, and fundraising. Chris was a passionate supporter of Dreamflight, a charity that was close to his heart during his time as Captain of Quainton Golf Society. In his honour, £20 per player will be donated to Dreamflight, and we’ll be holding a raffle to raise even more for this incredible cause.
Even if you can’t join us on the day, you can still be part of something meaningful.

Quainton Golf Society

Chris was a keen and active member of Quainton Golf Society for many years prior to his sad passing. In recognition of that, this year's Society Captain chose Chris's favourite charity, Dreamflight, to receive the amounts collected from members during the year in the way of fines and other charity contributions. The fantastic amount collected reflects the membership's fond memories of Chris during his many appearances at our golf days. He is sadly missed.
