By making a gift this Christmas, you can secure the future of SCM for a new generation of progressive Christian students, and help us to create, support and sustain inclusive communities where students can find a place to be and belong.
Any donation you make, between now and 31st January 2026, will be matched, thanks to the generosity of one of our SCM Friends. Every £1 you give becomes £2, and can help us go twice as far towards our goal of ensuring an inclusive Christian presence on every university campus.
The difference you will make
- £10, which becomes £20, could help us to affiliate a new SCM community.
- £20, which becomes £40, could equip SCM Communities with high-quality theological resources.
- £50, which becomes £100, could enable our staff team to provide 1:1 support to SCM Community leaders.
- £100, which becomes £200, could send our Faith in Action project worker to run workshops with SCM Communities.

"I made friends there who are my friends to this day. I've attended workshops which have completely expanded how I think about different parts of the Bible, notably lent, and learning about trans* theology has given me so many avenues to talk about faith that I didn't have before. I am so grateful to the SCM Community in Southampton for bringing me to where I am today."
SCM communities are student-led, ecumenical, and diverse
They are politically engaged, LGBTQ+ affirming, peace-loving and justice-seeking. They are prayerful, reflective, and questioning. They are loud, joyful and supportive. They are spaces where students break bread together, and reach out to their wider communities to share God’s love. We want to be able to support our current communities, and create new inclusive communities on campuses across Britain. Your donation will help us to do this.

We’re a movement of students, past and present, responding to the call of Jesus to follow him and show the love of God on campus, in our communities and in the world. We come together as an ecumenical and inclusive community, fostering unity in diversity and exploring faith through worship, discussion and action.
We are part of the World Student Christian Federation, a global network of student movements. We are a fully student led organisation; our trustees are all students, and our student membership help to shape the direction the movement travels.
SCM's vision is that every student can find a vibrant, open and inclusive Christian community, where they can explore faith and be inspired to put faith into action. To achieve this vision, SCM has four aims. Creating Community, Deepening Faith, Celebrating Diversity and Seeking Justice.
