Claire's Plymouth Half Marathon in memory of her staffy Jackson
Raising for Senior Staffy Club
I am running the Plymouth Half Marathon on Sunday 17th May 2026 to raise funds for Senior Staffy Club, in memory of my gorgeous staffy Jackson, who I sadly lost in September 2025.
Jackson was my whole world, and I have been struggling without my sweet boy, so this challenge will give me something to focus on, and hopefully raise some money for Senior Staffy Club.

We are a registered charity [No: 1156723], dedicated to rescuing and re-homing more mature (aged 7 years and older) Staffordshire Bull Terriers and Staffy cross dogs.
The Staffies we care for are senior dogs who have found themselves in rescue and in need of a new home for many reasons; their owner may have passed away; family circumstances may have changed or they have simply been picked up by the dog warden as a stray. As they are older they can find it difficult to find new homes but we work hard to make sure they do and we will care for them until that perfect home comes along. We are unique in that we are a breed specific rescue whose sole focus is the Senior Staffy.
We are based mainly in the Midlands area but rehome throughout the UK
