About us

The promotion of social inclusion and parent infant mental health among parents and their children who are socially excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of neonatal experiences by:
• providing education and information to support and enable neonatal parents to maximise educational opportunities for their child;
• raising public awareness of the issues affecting neonatal parents and their children, both generally and in relation to their social exclusion;
• providing workshops, forums, advocacy and general support; and
• providing recreational facilities and opportunities for neonatal families.

Family Fun Sports Day!

We are back at it again, doing one of our favorite things - hosting an event for all our fabulous neonatal families to get together and have some fun! Along with encourage friends, families and anyone else that wants to join in and see what SNUG is all about!

This year as part of our Summer Fun Day we are going to be hosting a classic sports day event - for the children AND adults to join in!

Your donations help us:

Provide regular peer support in your local Neonatal Unit
Provide a weekly safe space for our families to meet and speak to other parents who have been through a similar journey
Give welcome packs to parents when they first enter the neonatal unit - including adorable keepsakes they can treasure forever!
Ongoing support in the community and online for all families that have cared for their baby in the Neonatal Unit
Making sure all families have information and access to all support available to them
Advocacy for future neonatal parents, ensuring their mental and physical wellbeing is always a priority
