Raising for Murray's Initiative
Event date:
We are raising funds from the Great Scottish Run this year to raise funds for our clients who attend our various support groups.
A key benefit for our clients is a pantry who are experiencing food poverty. Funds raised will allow us to keep this stocked with food and toiletries so clients can access it when it is needed.
Example of activities we are hoping to fund include yoga, reiki, arts and crafts, walking group, cycling, and cooking on a budget. These activities have proved to be very popular in the past and the clients gain a lot from the activities.
Unfortunately these activities have been restricted due to reductions in our funding.
We are raising funds for the groups to participate with these activities, to help reduce isolation felt by clients and to improve their overall health and wellbeing.
