Stepping Stones is a specialist centre based in Trowbridge that provides tailored support and services for children with special educational needs and disabilities. The centre offers a nurturing and structured environment where children can develop essential skills, confidence, and independence.
Stepping Stones delivers personalised education, therapy, and care programmes designed to meet the individual needs of each child. The centre works closely with families and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes and promote wellbeing.
By fostering inclusion and holistic development, Stepping Stones plays a vital role in supporting children with additional needs and their families in the local community.
Going For Gold Sensory Scramble

This year, Stepping Stones Trowbridge is proudly celebrating 50 years of supporting young children with additional needs—and we’re marking the occasion with a very special event: our Go for Gold Sensory Scramble!
From Monday 9th June to Friday 13th June 2025, every child attending Stepping Stones will take part in a week of sensory play and movement challenges—designed to stimulate their senses, support development, and most of all, have FUN!
We’re inviting friends, families, and our wider community to help us raise funds to buy new sensory toys and equipment, helping our children continue to explore, thrive, and shine.
💛 Every donation—big or small—will make a real difference.
Together, we can create even more magical learning moments for our children.
