Great North run

Adele’s Memorial Fund is a charity dedicated to supporting children and young people with cancer and their families when a cure is no longer possible.
It was set up in memory of Adele Puckrin, who died of an aggressive brain tumour in November 2003, aged 16.
Rather than dying of a brain tumour, we prefer to say she lived in spite of it, her courage continues to inspire others.
The charity supports families to create special memories through small grants for special experiences, or practical items that make life a little easier.
We are only a small charity, but sometimes the smallest memories can be the happiest.
