Who We Are
The Guillemot Trust is a registered charity based at Liverpool Marina. Our purpose is simple: to give (particularly young) people the chance to experience sailing in a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.
Our Ethos
We run on kindness, experience and a shared love of the sea. Every voyage is offered by volunteers who believe in giving people opportunities they might not otherwise have.
Our Story
The Trust was founded to keep the spirit of adventure alive. Guillemot and Bullfrog — our vessels — have carried countless people out onto the Rivers Mersey and Conwy, each one discovering something new about the sea and themselves.
Our People
We have a small team of trustees oversees the charity’s work, supported by a dedicated group of volunteer skippers and crew. We’re sailors, teachers, youth workers, engineers, retirees — all united by the belief that time on the water changes lives.
