Imagine a Gloucestershire where wildlife can move freely through our countryside, birds can nest safely, pollinators can thrive, and we are better equipped to face the challenges of climate change, flood risk and pollution...

That's the power of the humble hedgerow!

From September 2026 to April 2027, CPRE Gloucestershire will plant almost 2 kilometres of new hedgerow across the county. Working with farmers, landowners and dedicated volunteers, we'll create vital green corridors that connect fragmented habitats, support biodiversity, lock up carbon and help protect the countryside we all love.

BUT WE CAN'T DO IT ALONE!

It might not sound like much, but when lots of people come together, small donations can make a big difference. Every pound helps us buy plants, protect young hedges, and support the volunteers who are helping create a healthier, greener Gloucestershire.
