Involution 3 Peaks Challenge for The Howarth Foundation

Event date: Saturday 25th May

The Howarth Foundation (THF) is unique. Their mission is to secure meaningful employment for individuals who have experienced homelessness, hidden homelessness or have been recently rehoused.  Homelessness, addiction, and prevention is a public sector problem, but with the involvement of businesses who are serious about their environmental, social and governance (ECG) responsibility, there is a private sector solution.  They work with companies who want to become ‘Business Building Futures’ (BBF) members and are willing and able to offer their clients not just a job, but a new positive chapter in life. The concept is simple but effective, and supports all participants, not just the client, but the business, community and third sector organisations.  For those businesses who are unable to offer employment, but are willing to fundraise on their behalf, your support is equally as valuable.

Involution became a BBF member in April last year, and we employ one of their clients.  It’s going really well, and we’d encourage everyone to support THF, who will work with you to benefit all concerned.

THF’s Commercial and Events Manager, Lindsay Kendrick and Client Support Worker, Carl Hedley will be joining us for the challenge.  Lindsay is a regular adventure junkie, Carl is a hiking newbie, but they are both really looking forward to it, as they know what it will mean to their charity and its clients.
