Involution are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks on Saturday the 25th May to raise £5,000 for The Howarth Foundation, our charity partner.
The Howarth Foundation (THF) is unique. Their mission is to secure meaningful employment for individuals who have experienced homelessness, hidden homelessness or have been recently rehoused. Homelessness, addiction, and prevention is a public sector problem, but with the involvement of businesses who are serious about their environmental, social and governance (ECG) responsibility, there is a private sector solution. They work with companies who want to become ‘Business Building Futures’ (BBF) members and are willing and able to offer their clients not just a job, but a new positive chapter in life. The concept is simple but effective, and supports all participants, not just the client, but the business, community and third sector organisations. For those businesses who are unable to offer employment, but are willing to fundraise on their behalf, your support is equally as valuable.
We proudly became a BBF member in April last year, having employed one of their clients just four months later. Fast forward to April 2024, and we are proud to share that our first employee via the THF partnership is in full-time employment and making fantastic advancements in becoming an embroidery specialist. Their skillset, passion and integration has been second-to-none, and is a much respected and valued member here at Involution.
