Ironman 70.3 UJIA Challenge

Event dates: Friday 3rd November 2023 – Sunday 5th November 2023

We are thrilled to announce our participation in the upcoming Ironman 70.3 Challenge in Tiberias on November 3rd, 2023. This iconic event brings together athletes from around the world to test their endurance and push their limits in the beautiful city of Tiberias.

The Ironman 70.3 Challenge is renowned for its demanding course, consisting of a 1.2-mile swim, a 56-mile bike ride, and a 13.1-mile run. It is a true test of strength, resilience, and determination. As participants, we have been training tirelessly, pushing ourselves to new heights to conquer this incredible challenge.

But our journey doesn't end there. We have chosen to use this extraordinary opportunity to support UJIA and their transformative projects in Israel aimed at fostering a shared society, such as the Abraham Initiatives, which pairs Arab and Jewish classes from neighbouring communities to learn a core curriculum subject together. Each class is co-taught by both teachers and alternates meetings between the two schools. The project focuses on English language learning as the subject for middle school students, as it is a neutral language and offers the opportunity to meet on equal footing.
