About us
Every young person in Oldham deserves the best start in life. Mahdlo Youth Zone opens the door to opportunity, inspiring our members to reach their potential whatever that may be.
We are committed to delivering exceptional youth work. At Mahdlo the possibilities are endless, from dunking hoops to dropping beats, climbing walls to cooking meals, performing arts to nail art. For just 50p per visit, we provide a safe space for our members to use their boundless imagination; 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year – we’re here to give young people the opportunity to experience and achieve.
Make a difference with a double donation
Friday the 17th March marks 11 years since Mahdlo Youth Zone first opened its doors to young people across Oldham.
Throughout March, join us as we celebrate our 11th birthday. With a 26-mile run by Police Sergeant Damieon Hartley-Pickles, parties for our members and a highly anticipated Yellow and Grey day that’s sure to paint the town...well, yellow and grey!
We rely on funding from businesses and the local community to continually provide somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to. Without the generosity of Oldham, we would not have been able to support its young people for so long.
Throughout February and March, we would like to invite you to, if you’re able, to donate to Mahdlo Youth Zone so that we can keep our doors open to all young people aged 8 - 19 (up to 25 if the young person has a disability) for another year.
Any donation you make during this campaign will be matched, doubling your contribution to Mahdlo.
