Alzheimer's Society Memory Walks

Take part in an Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk during autumn 2026 and help raise vital funds for people affected by dementia.
Our campaign supports two charities; Abbeyfield Living Society and Alzheimer’s Society, with all funds raised split equally between the two organisations (50/50).
 
This year, Abbeyfield Living Society celebrates its 70th anniversary of providing care and housing for older people, who might otherwise be lonely or isolated. Our specialist dementia-friendly care homes are designed to meet the individual needs of residents at every stage of dementia. We provide safe, supportive, and enriching homes for all residents with dementia. Our staff are specially trained to understand the unique challenges faced by individuals and to deliver personalised care for those with dementia that ensures dignity and wellbeing.
 
Alzheimer’s Society support thousands of families affected by dementia every year with a nationwide network offering emotional support and practical advice. We also fund groundbreaking research into better ways of treating and caring for people with dementia, and run campaigns to raise awareness of the realities of this condition.
