Raising for Phoenix Performing Arts Trust
Event dates: –
Real. Raw. Radical.
NUMB – The Edge of Feeling is a powerful true story of survival, transformation and hope — shocking and disturbing at times, yet threaded with humour, beauty and grace.
Abandoned as a toddler, raised in children’s homes and foster care, and shaped by the brutal boarding school culture of the 1970s, Danny Scott’s journey moves from deep trauma and near-suicide to healing, faith and international impact.
Across 2026 and 2027, this story will be brought to life through a live UK book launch tour, combining music, poetry, mime and physical theatre in immersive performance events for churches, festivals and communities.
This crowdfunding campaign helps fund both the production of the book itself and the creation of the live tour — ensuring this story can be shared widely, accessibly and with creative excellence.
This is more than a book launch.
It is an invitation to face darkness honestly — and to discover hope, healing and meaning beyond numbness.
Your support helps turn a story into an experience — and an experience into lasting impact.
