Running the London Marathon on 26 April 2026 for Two Life-Changing Causes

On 26 April 2026, Dominic Sheahan will be taking on the London Marathon, raising funds for two charities close to his heart: Pied Piper Appeal and Gloucestershire Deaf Association.
Dominic is the Sales & Marketing Director at The Mortgage Branch, and is using this incredible endurance challenge to make a real and lasting difference to children, families, and the Deaf and hard of hearing community across Gloucestershire.
Running 26.2 miles through London is no small feat — but Dominic is doing it so others face fewer barriers in their everyday lives.

Why Pied Piper Appeal?

Pied Piper Appeal supports sick and disabled children across Gloucestershire by funding vital equipment, therapy, and opportunities that are not always available through statutory services.
From specialist mobility and sensory equipment to experiences that bring joy, confidence, and independence, Pied Piper helps children live fuller lives and supports families when they need it most.

Why Gloucestershire Deaf Association (GDA)?

Gloucestershire Deaf Association supports Deaf and hard of hearing people of all ages, working to remove barriers and create inclusive communities.
Their work includes Deaf awareness training, youth and family services, wellbeing support, advocacy, and community spaces where Deaf people can communicate freely, feel understood, and truly belong.
