The provision and maintenance of playing fields and recreation grounds for the use of the inhabitants of Bradford on Avon, in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life, mental and physical health and wellbeing.
Bradford on Avon Town Council recently unveiled the new design to improve the play area in Poulton Park.
The new design is more ambitious – and considered people’s comments about what they would like to see in the play area. Reflecting this, the response to the design has been incredibly positive – with the local community very excited about the new play opportunities.
The new design is more expensive - and this means the project is having to be split into phases.
The town council is spending £80,000 on the first phase of the project.
The town council is also working hard to secure the additional £100,000 of funding required to complete the project - and would welcome contributions from the local community and businesses who may wish to help.
We've already been offered £25,000 in match funding - so with the community's support to raise the other £25,000, we'll be at the halfway point in no time!
If you or your business would like to make a substantial donation to the fund, please contact Bradford on Avon Town Council directly at office@bradfordonavontowncouncil.gov.uk
