Shradh Seva: Donate Food to the Needy and Seek Ancestors’ Blessings

Raising for Narayan Seva Sansthan Uk

Shradh Paksha is a sacred period dedicated to remembering our ancestors with Shradha, gratitude and love. This year, from 26 September to 10 October 2026, make this sacred occasion more meaningful by turning your remembrance into an act of Seva.

It is traditionally believed that offering food and performing acts of charity during Shradh is a way to honour our ancestors and seek their blessings. Through Narayan Seva Sansthan’s Shradh Seva initiative, you can dedicate food service to the memory of your parents, grandparents or loved ones while supporting children in need.

Feed Someone in Need in Memory of Your Ancestors

Annadaan, or the offering of food, holds a special place in Shradh traditions. A meal may seem simple, but for an underprivileged child, it can bring nourishment, care and comfort. This Shradh, let your love and remembrance for your ancestors reach someone who needs it today.

By sponsoring food for underprivileged and differently abled children, you can honour your ancestors through an act of compassion and contribute to a meaningful Seva that benefits those in need.

Join Narayan Seva Sansthan’s Large-Scale Shradh Seva

Narayan Seva Sansthan is organising Shradh Paksha Food and Bhandara Seva on a large scale for underprivileged and differently abled children. You can participate by choosing a specific Seva option according to your wish:

Food for 100 Children – ₹3,000

Food for 1,000 Children – ₹30,000
Shradh Paksh Sapt Dasami Moopath & Meal for 101 Differently Abled Children – ₹21,000

Bhandara Seva for 10,000 Children – ₹3,00,000

Your participation can help extend the reach of this organised food service and provide meals to more children in need. When many people come together in Seva, a single act of remembrance can become part of a much larger movement of compassion.
