About us
Ablaze exists to tackle inequality of opportunity for young people in the West of England region.
We do this by utilising the skills and commitment of business volunteers.
We aim to
- raise young people's confidence and aspiration;
- support their attainment and skill levels and
- empower them with knowledge to make informed choices about their future.
Speed Communications runs Bristol for Ablaze
Event date:
Since the first UK national lockdown in March 2020, many school children from the most disadvantaged families have found the gap between themselves and their peers widen.
Speed Communications’ chosen charity, Ablaze exists to tackle inequality of opportunity for young people in the West of England region.
To help fund their work, a team of Speedsters will take part in the Great Bristol Run (10k and Half Marathon) in September 2022. Further members of the team will also be running, walking and swimming their own personal fitness challenges, ranging from 5k to 20k. Please support them if you can!
