A personal message from Sandra Hamilton, founder of Cure Cancer @ UCL:
"I want to ensure that the incredibly important research work undertaken by the researchers at the UCL Cancer Institute can continue after my death.
To achieve sustainability long after I have gone, we are aiming to raise £1,000,000.
That is a lot of money, but it is achievable. If 1 million people donate just £1 each we can reach that target -of course larger donations are very welcome!
All it requires is a little support from a lot of people to make my dream come true. It will give me great comfort to know that the charity will live on beyond my death and provide invaluable support to the research team who will be able to purchase the latest equipment as it becomes available. My goal, and the goal of the charity, is to ensure that patients will not have to endure needless treatments just to survive. Let’s cure cancer now!
