Toyota takes on the London Marathon

Raising for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Supporting the Fight Against Motor Neurone Disease: London Marathon 2025

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) currently affects up to 5,000 adults in the UK at any one time. Tragically, there is still no cure for this rapidly progressing condition.

In 2025, the following Toyota leaders will proudly take on the challenge of the London Marathon to raise crucial funds for the MND Association:

  • Jason Milton – Chief Executive Officer, Toyota Insurance Services
  • Rob Mckendrick – Director, Customer Services, Toyota GB
  • Carla Henson – General Manager, One Toyota Transformation & Corporate Operations, Toyota GB
Dariusz Mikolajczak – Managing Director, Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK

These funds will help advance groundbreaking research, enhance care services, and provide much-needed support for individuals living with MND, as well as their families and carers.

We are honored to collaborate on this important mission. Every contribution makes a difference in the fight to find a cure and improve the lives of those affected.

Thank you for your support.

About us

Motor Neurone Disease Association

Charity number: 294354

The MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

We improve care and support for people with MND, their families and carers and fund and promote research that leads to new understanding and treatments, and brings us closer to a cure for MND. We also campaign and raise awareness so the needs of people with MND and everyone who cares for them are recognised and addressed by wider society.

Our vision is a world free from MND.

Toyota

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a fatal and rapidly progressing condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. In the UK, it impacts up to 5,000 adults at any given time, and unfortunately, there is no cure for this devastating disease.

After the exceptional success of 2024, where the Toyota UK entities came together to raise over £300,000 for MND Association, we have decided to continue that support in 2025. This year we aim to raise £100,000, which can only be achieved with the help of Toyota GB staff!

Throughout 2025 there will be many staff fundraisers, including the One Toyota Charity Cup, the Student Charity Challenge and the Walking Marathon!

Toyota GB is dedicated to raising crucial funds to help the MND Association advance research, enhance care, and offer support to people living with MND, as well as their families and carers.

We are proud to unite in this effort—every donation makes a difference in the fight for a cure and in supporting those affected by this disease.
