From Friday 4th April 2025 we are open at our new premises - 10 Cambridge Walks, within the gallery space. It is lovely to see guests old and new.
Uniform Hub 2025
Raising for Compassion Acts
- We at Compassion Acts are very proud of our Uniform Hub. Due to the hard work and patience of its volunteer team it has grown and developed over the last 3 years.
- Last year almost 900 children were helped with almost 3000 items of uniform
Recently we have had to take the difficult decision to close our Community Hub at 17A Cambridge Walks. That project was funded by a national grant which had ended.
Thankfully due to a partnership with Make It Workshop further along the Walks we will reopen the Uniform Hub at Unit 9 from April 2025 in a shared gallery space with ample storage above.
Whilsts not cost free, it will be more sustainable. It is these rent and support costs of around £2700 per annum - that we are seeking your donations today.

We are a local charity working to reduce poverty and increase social wellbeing in Southport and surrounding areas. We support people facing financial hardship in a range of ways including Southport foodbank, Food Pantries, benefits and debt advice. At the same time we 'go upstream' to address the root causes of poverty, and try to prevent them.
