Raising for Upmo

Our annual Student Sponsored Walk is happening on Thursday 4th September!
Many of our students (and staff) will be walking and wheeling the 5k route around Arthur's Seat in Holyrood Park, helping to raise vital funds for Upmo.
You can show your support by sponsoring the team to help them reach their fundraising goal!
Every penny of sponsorship we receive helps us to continue delivering our diverse programme of creative, educational and employability activities, contributing to a better quality of life for all our students.
The walk will take place on Thursday 4th September in Holyrood Park and is available to students only. Booking information will be sent to students and parents/carers.

About us

Upmo provides tailored support and opportunities for young people and adults with learning disabilities and autism in Edinburgh and the Lothians. We help them develop life skills, build confidence and achieve their potential by providing a diverse range of creative, educational and social activities to take part in.
Our extensive programme of workshops has been developed in collaboration with our students and covers a wide range of subjects within the following key areas: Creative Art, Digital, Health & Wellbeing, Outdoor Learning and Employability. We also run regular events, trips and social activities throughout the year as the social element of Upmo is an important aspect of attending Upmo.
In addition to this, we provide employment training and work experience opportunities, including in our four social enterprise cafés in Edinburgh, Upmo Eat, which are run by and for our students, and through our Upmo Retail programme, where students design, make and sell their own products.
