About us
African Children's Fund's work with grass roots partners in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe in education and children's rights is making a real difference to the lives of almost 4,000 children born into poverty every year.
Helping children off the streets and into school gives them a chance to improve their lives and build a better future.
Wagathon - African Children's Fund

For the first time, African Children's Fund is excited to be taking part in Wagathon. During August 2022, you can raise funds for our charity by completing 9ks with your k9s! Walk, skip, run or jump... it's up to you! Simply create your own fundraising page, share it with your friends and family, and keep everyone updated with your progress.
Remember, every 9p donated to your page will provide a school porridge meal for a child in Kenya. That means for every £9 you raise, 100 children will receive a mug of porridge at school rather than having to work, scavenge of beg for food.
We would love to see your photos of your 9k jaunts with your k9 companions so don't forget to tag us in your social media posts!
