Raising for Careline Calling
After many years with Careline, including six as our Chair of Trustees, Wendy will be taking on an incredible challenge in March: hiking Mount Kilimanjaro to raise vital funds for the service she has helped guide and support.
Careline is a small independant charity offering free telephone befriending calls to adults across the Derbyshire Dales, Erewash, and East Staffordshire. Our volunteer team brings comfort, connection, and companionship to people who may be feeling lonely, isolated, or just in need of some extra support.
Your donation will help us continue to provide these much-needed friendship calls and the reassurance they offer to families and communities.

About us
Careline Calling
Charity number: 1068801
Careline is a registered charity based in Ashbourne (No. 1068801). We offer a free telephone befriending service for people living in the Derbyshire Dales and East Staffordshire who are in need of extra support. Calls are available every day of the year including weekends and holidays.
The service is managed by Hannah and Carolyn with the support of our fantastic Trustees and volunteers. Our aim is to make the lives of those we call a little better by offering friendship and peace of mind to their family and friends.
Our large team of volunteers provides friendship, greater social interaction and helps give our members the confidence to remain living independently. We monitor people’s well-being and pass on useful information about the services available to them in their local community.
Our service is free and available every day of the year including weekends and bank holidays.
