The Wombles Walk… back to Plough Lane is a 10km sponsored walk, with AFC Wimbledon Fans, ex-players, staff and members of our local community taking part to raise funds for AFC Wimbledon Foundation.
The walk circles Wimbledon Common, where AFC Wimbledon held football trials just over 20 years ago, and you’ll end up back to Plough Lane in time to enjoy a home game.
The walk is open to anyone and it’s non-competitive.
All participants will receive fundraising support, an AFC Wimbledon Foundation T-Shirt and a finishers medal, as well as a training programme created by Execfit to help prepare you for the walk. There are rest stops with refreshments along the route and you’ll enjoy food and drink at the finish line celebration before the game .
