About us
We are a local charity working to reduce poverty and increase social wellbeing in Southport and surrounding areas. We support people facing financial hardship in a range of ways including Southport foodbank, Food Pantries, benefits and debt advice. At the same time we 'go upstream' to address the root causes of poverty, and try to prevent them.
A Compassion Acts Christmas
Dear friends,
After such a difficult year here in Southport, we are ready to celebrate Christmas. With all the difficulties we face, there is still cause for hope.
This leaflet lists some of the activities we are organising for those who access our provisions, many of which are only possible with our wonderful partners. Regular users of our services will also receive notification of some of the locally organised Christmas events.
Without the generosity of our wonderful regular donors, our work in the local community simply wouldn’t be possible. Thanks to those who give every month, churches, organisations and individuals who support through our seasonal and one-off appeals. Could you be a Christmas hero and help us to help even more people?
