The Angus Macdonald Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness of bowel cancer and the importance of early screening, particularly among individuals under 30. By promoting awareness and advocating for early screening, the Foundation aims to save lives and improve health outcomes for younger individuals at risk.
Join us in our mission to make a lasting impact and create a cancer-free future
Event dates: Tuesday 18th June – Sunday 23rd June
Angus Macdonald, the captain of Aberdeen FC, will embark on an incredible journey, cycling 600 miles from Southampton to Aberdeen in just six days.
Taking place between Tuesday, June 18th and Sunday, June 23rd, this impressive feat aims to highlight the importance of early detection and screening, particularly among individuals under 30.
Angus Macdonald’s journey will not only raise vital funds for the Foundation but also serve as a powerful platform to advocate for early screening among the under-30s. His commitment to this cause underscores the Foundation’s mission to combat the impact of bowel cancer on this age group.
The Foundation invites everyone to support Angus on his journey, whether by cheering him on along the route or contributing to the fundraising efforts. Together, we can make a difference and work towards a future where early detection and treatment of bowel cancer become the norm.
