Raising for Autistic Nottingham
This April, we are asking our community to come together to sustain and grow essential Autistic-led support.
At Autistic Nottingham, we are proud to be an autistic-led organisation delivering practical, life-changing support every day. Our work is rooted in lived experience and designed to create real, lasting impact across our community.
Throughout the year, we provide a wide range of support, including:
Employment Mentoring – helping autistic people build confidence, develop skills, and access sustainable work
Support Services – offering guidance, advocacy, and personalised support for Autistic individuals
Peer Support – creating safe spaces where autistic people can connect, share experiences, and feel understood
Social Engagement Opportunities – reducing isolation and building community through inclusive activities
Neuro-affirmative Counselling – providing supportive, respectful mental health care that embraces neurodiversity, without seeking to change or “fix” who someone is
These services are not one-off interventions—they are ongoing, consistent support systems that people rely on. With your support this April, we can continue delivering this vital work and reach more Autistic people who need it most.

Autistic Nottingham is the country's first entirely user-led Autism charity, with a full management and trustee board of diagnosed Autistic adults. We work to challenge the misconceptions around Autism and to support those adults who are left behind as there are no services appropriate to their needs. We provide Advocacy, Support Groups/Service and Social Engagement as well as Training and Workshops designed and run by Autistic adults.
