Since 1971, No5 has been providing early intervention counselling and outreach for young people aged 11-25 who live, work or study in the ‘RG’ postcode area.
We offer free, confidential, open-access mental health support and counselling face-to-face, online and in local secondary schools. We also have a programme of outreach support delivered by our Young Ambassadors who create online content and support to help young people feel better able to take charge of their mental health and feel more in control.

We established #BePurpleDay in 2023 as an opportunity for social action from supporters in the community on World Mental Health Day!
As an awareness day that is celebrated across the globe, it felt important to lead a campaign, grounded in our local community, that shows young people their mental health matters and that they aren’t alone.
We are inviting local schools, businesses, community groups and individuals to come together on 10th October, wear a pop of purple, and raise funds to support young people’s mental health across RG postcodes!
