About us

We are inspired by our Christian faith to support disadvantaged families in Tadcaster and we do this through drop-in youth clubs, holiday clubs, primary age clubs, self-esteem courses for young people, mentoring, an accredited volunteer scheme and schools work including assemblies, RE and PHSE lessons. Through these we aim to support young people to fulfil their full potential: physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Over the previous year we‘ve experienced an increase in running costs and demand for our services. Many families are turning to us for support through rising food and fuel bills, and we are providing a warm, welcoming and safe space for them.

The Bridge Project Total Warrior 2024

Event dates: Saturday 22nd June – Sunday 23rd June

Our participation in this event raises funds for the youth clubs run by faith-based charity The Bridge Project Tadcaster to help young people learn new skills and fulfil their full potential.

We provide low cost activities for children and young people to increase their sense of self worth, purpose and belonging, as well as building their resilience and coping skills through our workshops. We also provide a safe place for young people to be themselves and feel valued and listened to. One young person recently told us: "I love coming here because I know I can talk about bullying at school, and the youth workers will listen and support me."

Our team of mud-runners will be completing the 3km course on the day and are asking for sponsorship from family and friends to help make a difference to children and young people in Tadcaster.
