Great St Marys Choir Tour 2024

In July 2024, Great St Mary's Choir will be singing concerts and services in Germany as part of a five-day tour. The choir will stay in Cologne, where they will sing a concert in the Antoniterkirche. They will also travel to the village of Gackenbach, not far from Limburg-an-der-Lahn to give a concert on the theme of evensong. The choir is delighted to be singing at the vigil mass in Altenberg Abbey, a glorious building shared between Catholic and Protestant congregations. And finally, we shall join the congregation at the church of SS. Simon and Jude in Hennef (Sieg) near Bonn. Some lovely trips are planned for the choristers (and adults), including a visit to Cologne's chocolate museum and a chance to ride a Rodelbahn (an Alpine go-kart).

All participants have already made a significant financial contribution to the tour. We still need to raise a little more money in order to all of activities we have planned for the week. If you are able to make a contribution towards the tour, we would be very grateful indeed.

Thank you
