As the leading national charity that invests in Scotland’s youngest children pre-birth to five, our services strengthen and improve wellbeing, attainment and improved family relationships and outcomes, benefitting over 7,000 children and families each year.

Children across Scotland's futures are at risk. Our services are vital to help families build back after Covid. We support families living in Scotland’s 10% most deprived areas who experience high rates of child poverty, trauma, unemployment, debt, single/teen parents, and parental imprisonment, which disrupt parent-child relationships and cause significant educational delays that impact future life chances. Our families and our sector are struggling. Early learning addresses challenges at the earliest points of intervention. With your support we can ensure this is strengthened Scotland-wide.

In response to the cost of living crisis and pressures on the workforce, our Annual National Conference this year takes place online, to keep costs, and therefore ticket prices, down. Our conference facilitates high quality engagement with a diverse range of delegates who are invested in early learning and childcare across Scotland such as education, local authorities and early years childcare professionals.

Our conference costs this year are in the region of £5,000 which will ensure an effective event with authentic impact upon Early Learning and Childcare.
