About us
Friends Of More Park work closely with More Park Primary school to enhance and enrich the learning experience for all children during their time here and building the school community. We do this by running events that involve the children and the local community to provide great experiences that raise money to be spent on further improvements and experiences.
We are currently raising funds for new playground equipment - something that gets so much use and enjoyment out of! Every little helps so please dig deep! Thank you in advance for your generosity!

FOMP Colour Run
Event date: Friday 17th May
Our current fundraising target is making investments in the school playground and play equipment. The first priority, which all children will be thrilled to hear, is replacing the school castle. This will be an invaluable asset for the school as it is not only used by children as a multi-purpose area for break times, it is also used for class assemblies and performances when warmer/drier.
More Park Primary School is a small, single-form entry rural school. Funding is extremely tight and like many other schools, rely on their PTFA (us) to fund projects such as this. Facility improvements benefit not only the children, but also make the school more desirable for prospective parents/carers and in turn generates more funding for the school.
We need your help
We are appealing to all of you: parents, carers, grandparents, aunts, cousins, neighbours. To be able to complete the playground project for the benefit of the children and the school, WE NEED YOU.

Wow what an afternoon!!!!!! Thank you SO MUCH to all the supporters, helpers and our wonderful kids.
We raised an incredible amount - over £3,000 so far! We’re still accepting donations via the sponsorship page or via cash and form through the school office until the end of next week.
This means we now have enough to replace the More Park Castle and work on that will begin next term!!!
Raffle winners will all have been notified by email and announced in the school newsletter. Thank you so much to our secret weapon: Mrs Bush for doing a fantastic job of securing the prizes and making sure everyone had their waivers complete to take part today.
A big thanks to Leanne Baker for the amazing balloon arch and to the white studios for the photography, look forward to sharing more details with you soon.

Wooohooooo! We reached our first target!
We’re so excited to see how far this will go as there is just SO much to do!!! Here is a snapshot of our priorities:

Priority one for our fundraising is replacing the much loved castle which has seen better days and is now beyond repair.
We will also be looking to set up some community action days to give a little tlc to the areas that need it.
