Standing with LGBT+ Survivors
Raising for GALOP
For an LGBT+ person experiencing abuse, reaching out can be the most difficult step. They need to know that they will be heard, believed, and supported without judgement.
Galop offers free, specialist support to LGBT+ victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, conversion practices, and other forms of abuse. Our advisers and advocates help people understand their options, stay safe, and start rebuilding their lives.
How your gift could help:
£10 could help keep our free helpline and webchat available to someone with nowhere else to turn.
£25 could help an LGBT+ survivor access confidential support from a trained adviser.
£50 could help someone understand their rights, explore their options, and take a step towards safety.
£100 could contribute to specialist advocacy and casework, including help with housing, healthcare, or the criminal justice system.
Whether you make a one-off gift or donate regularly, your support helps ensure LGBT+ survivors don’t have to face abuse alone.

About us
GALOP
Charity number: 1077384
GALOP has been on the frontlines supporting lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer people who have experienced domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime and conversion practices for over 40 years. In some of the worst and most painful moments of LGBT+ people's lives, we are there to make things safer, and help them navigate the systems they need to figure out to do next. In 2025, our helpline answered 9,389 calls, and our advocates and support workers worked with 3,382 victims and survivors, more than a quarter of them were children and young people.
