About us
We are a local charity working to reduce poverty and increase social wellbeing in Southport and surrounding areas. We support people facing financial hardship in a range of ways including Southport foodbank, Food Pantries, benefits and debt advice. At the same time we 'go upstream' to address the root causes of poverty, and try to prevent them.
Harvest Appeal 2023
It is autumn and the nights are drawing in. Many people in schools, churches and businesses collect food for us in 'harvest festivals' around this time- and that is great!!
In the last 6 months we have had to send £25,000 on food, household cleansing goods and personal toiletries- for our clients and that is unsustainable. We need your help to feed a growing number of people in Southport, Formby, Banks and surrounding villages. The costs of storage, vans, waste disposal and insurance are rising and we rely n the generosity of our wonderful donors.
