2BU was established in 2003 and is a youth support service for young people aged 11–25 who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ+). In rural Somerset, many LGBTQ+ young people can feel isolated and alone.
2BU exists to change that. We help young people build resilience, confidence, and a sense of healthy self-acceptance. We provide safe, affirming spaces where LGBTQ+ young people can come together and be supported by both staff and peers.
Our support is holistic and tailored, offering a range of options that meet young people where they are. With your support, we can continue to ensure no LGBTQ+ young person in Somerset has to feel alone.

2BU was established in 2003 and is a youth support service for young people aged 11-25 who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ+). The rural nature of Somerset often contributes to LGBTQ+ young people feeling isolated and alone.
2BU aims to help build resilience and confidence and bring each young person to a place of healthy self acceptance. We provide a safe environment for LGBTQ+ young people to come together and gain support from both staff and peers. We offer a range of support options which provide a holistic and tailored programme to meet the needs of the LGBTQ+ young people.
