A little something to help you reach your target
Thousands of dogs are born on the streets of Bosnia every year, condemned to face cruel acts by locals, starvation, disease and brutal and inhumane deaths. The dogs are round up by dog catchers and often placed into kill shelters that provide no care, food or comfort, with many starving to death or dying of exposure.
Fetcher Dog aims to rescue as many of these dogs as possible. We have many local rescuers, picking up stray street dogs and removing as many as possible from kill shelters. All dogs are taken to safe and secure facilities where they no longer have to fear cruelty. They are fed and cared for and are taken to local veterinarians who help us nurse them back to health. We give them everything they need for a fresh start and the best possible chance of a happy, healthy life.
Fetcher Dog then finds forever homes for these dogs in the U.K. These dogs have been through so much that they desperately deserve wonderful families and we aim to pair all of our dogs with the best forever homes that we can find.
Throughout July, our team at the Fetcher Dog Rescue Centre are doing challenges to raise money for the dogs.
Jordan and Stephanie are doing the Victoria Park 5k having never run anywhere in their lives, Jo is doing a 24 hour treadmill challenge and Kayleigh is doing a wingwalk.
We are raising funds so that we can rescue more dogs. We are contacted every day about dogs that are being put down in pounds and we can only save them when we can afford to support them. Please help us raise much needed funds.
The first £500 raised will be matched by a very generous anonymous supporter.
Please help us to raise as much money as possible.
Thank you
