We produce, promote and create opportunities for children and young people to improve their mental health and wellbeing through singing.
We believe in harnessing the power of singing to improve people's mental health and wellbeing. With 50% of mental health problems established by the age of 14 and 75% by the age of 24, we believe it's critical to focus on prevention by working with young people. The benefits of singing, especially in groups, are wide-ranging with extensive research supporting the physiological, social, psychological and behavioural benefits.
The Sing Up Foundation creates opportunities for children and young people to build resilience and improve mental health and wellbeing through the power of singing. Whether it’s through group singing, songwriting, or voice exploration, the benefits of singing are wide-ranging and supported by research – boosting social connections, reducing stress, enhancing emotional wellbeing and much more. By creating opportunities for young people to sing together and equipping educators with the right tools, the Sing Up Foundation helps children and young people express themselves and build confidence through the power of song.
Please consider supporting the Sing Up Foundation’s innovative approach to youth mental health. Every contribution helps create more opportunities for young people to find their voice.
Join us and create a healthier world through song.
