Lycra Luke, Downhill Darren & Speedy Sam Ride London 60

Novices on their bikes, bro-in-laws Luke & Darren are taking on an ambitious challenge to cycle 60 miles for Zimkids on Sunday 28th May and they need your encouragement! Also joining them is Sam (the professional of the group!) to keep them in line.

Luke & Darren have both spent time in Zimbabwe and Sam is the headteacher of an excellent school in London, Dolphin School - based within Northcote Road Baptist Church, so understands just how vital good education is in those precious early years.

Every penny they raise will help children living in poverty in Zimbabwe go to school and train and support their care givers to become self-sufficient so families can look towards brighter futures. You can find out more about them here: zimkids.org.

2023 Ford RideLondon-Essex 60 starts in central London on Victoria Embankment before coursing through historic Epping Forest to reach Essex. Riders then head up to Ongar before turning round and re-tracing their wheel treads back to Southwark in central London for a mighty finale at Tower Bridge. Let's go lads!
