We are a registered charity working across Greater Manchester to improve the homes and lives of older and disabled people. Our aim is to increase people's independence and improve their quality of life. Our work is varied, ranging from practical support with home repairs to information and guidance on a wide range of issues.

Manchester Care and Repair Annual Fundraising Appeal 2023
In our day-to-day work, we see older people living in increasingly difficult conditions, which are exacerbated by the cost-of-living crisis. Many people are struggling to afford essentials, and can’t afford to replace broken, worn or unsuitable items in their homes.
Which is why we've created the Home Comforts Fund. The fund provides home furnishings, furniture, bedding, towels, curtains, lighting, white goods etc., to help improve the quality of life for older people living in poverty.
