Deliver - we deliver targeted sport for social change programmes for the most vulnerable young people through Coach Mentors with lived experience.
Innovate - we design programmes with young people, using creative methodologies and testing ideas by delivering 6-12 month pilot programmes.
Inspire - we work with other charities, employers and corporate organisations and create bespoke solutions to extend the power and reach of our programmes for maximum social impact.
Guided by young people, our listening process has directed us to deliver sports programmes that focus on these social issues affecting young people today:
We exist to help young people find solutions to deal with these social issues through the power of sport.
Event date: Wednesday 4th December
London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square
The last lunch of the year, on Wednesday, December 4th, will be a three-course black-tie dinner and dance with a band as well as to raise money for a great cause, The Change Foundation.
The Change Foundation is an award-winning charity that uses sport to create transformational change in the lives of marginalised young people. Over the last 43 years, we have helped change the lives of over 250,000 young people and trained more than 400 youth groups and charities to create their sport for social change programmes. All of their work is designed and delivered by Coach Mentors who have tackled similar challenges to those faced by the children and young people we target and who are often graduates of our projects.
This means that they have a deep understanding of the challenges and barriers that young people face, which combined with the 15 different sports they now use, allows them to build the trusting relationships our work depends on.
