Millsy's West Highland Way Fundraiser - 1st to 6th October 2025

Hi, I’m Millsy and I’m about to walk 96 miles in six days. What could possibly go wrong? 😅

From 1st to 6th October, I’ll be hiking the full length of the West Highland Way - Scotland’s iconic long-distance trail to raise money for two charities that mean the world to me: Dreamflight and Parkinson’s UK.

Why I'm Doing This

I’ve been lucky enough to volunteer with Dreamflight since 2012, supporting children with serious illnesses and disabilities on the trip of a lifetime to Orlando. It’s hard to put into words what Dreamflight means to the kids and to those of us who get to be part of it. It’s joy, confidence, friendship, and pure magic.

Parkinson’s UK is also close to my heart. Their work supporting people affected by Parkinson’s and funding research to find a cure is vital. I’ve seen first-hand the difference they make, and I want to help them keep going.

So I’m lacing up my boots, grabbing my waterproofs (probably), and heading into the Highlands to raise funds for both.

How You Can Help

If you can spare the cost of a coffee and a slice of cake, it really does make a difference. A few pounds might help a child swim with dolphins, or fund vital research into Parkinson’s. Every donation, big or small helps both charities do what they do best.
